Bison Hunt

This is a one-day meat harvest!  Bison Hunters will arrive at the ranch at 7 am. and shoot a bison, and then will cut up the bison and get it prepared.

This hunting course will take place in northern Utah, near the Idaho border, in a small town called Plymouth. The nearest airport would be Salt Lake City  and is roughly 1.5 hours from the hunting area. 

• A rifle to harvest the bison with and to use on Backfires course
• 40 to 60 rounds of ammo
• 6 Bison-sized game bags
• 10 to 12 unscented large garbage bags
• Ice and Coolers

There are a plethora of local butchers that you can call to set up an appointment. We will have a few phone numbers of butchers you can call to drop off your meat to. For those of you who are driving and have a local butcher back home, make sure you bring large coolers, large game bags, and large garbage bags with plenty of ice. For those of you who are flying to Salt Lake and Renting a vehicle, a truck is preferred.

The nearest town with hotels will be in Tremonton, Utah.
