This is a one-day meat harvest! Bison Hunters will arrive at the ranch at 7 am. and shoot a bison, and then will cut up the bison and get it prepared.

This hunting course will take place in northern Utah, near the Idaho border, in a small town called Plymouth. The nearest airport would be Salt Lake City and is roughly 1.5 hours from the hunting area.
What is Included?
- Mature cow bison or two-year-old bison (There are no other fees for licensing or tags because the bison are privately owned. )
- Field Butchering course with Tate Bradfield
- Skinning and quartering of Bison
- Water
What is Not Included?
- Transportation to Plymouth Utah
- Processing of bison meat
- Meals and lodging
- Gun (those we do have one available to rent)

- Nearest airport is Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC).
- And the nearest towns with hotels would be Tremonton or Logan Utah.
- Your own gun and ammunition (for those that don't own a rifle we will have one there to use for the cost of ammunition)

- 5-7 full-body deer-sized game bags and 5-7 Large heavy-duty garbage bags.
- 40-60 rounds of ammo
- Coolers/freezers for the meat (you will likely need a large freezer or 3-4 large 60-80 quart coolers)
- Knives for skinning and processing (Whatever you like to use. I like to use a replaceable blade knife that is 3-4 inches in length, scalpel-style knives are not optimal for bison, and I wouldn't bring them)
- 6.5 caliber or larger
- 50-100 yards
- Absolutely. It will be nice to have extra hands.
- And Yes. The Price is for the Bison, it doesn't matter who shoot
- We have about 5-7 people shooting each day. It should be a small group that gets to hang out and have fun!
- There will be guides on hand to help butcher animals. But ideally, this is an interactive experience where we will teach you how to butcher correctly. We will process it to butcher's quarters and then you can process it further with local butchers or yourself.
- There are a plethora of local butchers that you can call to set up an appointment. We will have a few phone numbers of butchers you can call to drop off your meat to. For those of you who are driving and have a local butcher back home, make sure you bring large coolers, large game bags, and large garbage bags with plenty of ice. For those of you who are flying to Salt Lake and Renting a vehicle, a truck is preferred.
- Expect anywhere from 250-500lbs of meat depending on what you decide to shoot.
- The meat is generally leaner than a beef cow, but more fatty than elk. They make great steaks and great hamburger (though I typically add 10-15% beef fat to the hamburger)
- The Bison are grass-fed and 100% organic.

Due to logistics of this event, course payments are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another individual.
Payment
To book this hunt we require 50% down. After checking out we will then send you an email with a contract. The final 50% of the deposit is due by the Hunting Date.
